Founded and led nonprofit group that promoted waste reduction, including participation in state and national organizations and successful lobbying.

Campaign planning and training for group that opposed uranium mining in Colorado.

Manager for Census 2000, marketing the need for Census activities in 29 rural and urban communities.

Successfully lobbied against changes in state law for an environmental organization in South Dakota.

Work on Congressional, Senate, Presidential, and local campaigns for over 40 years.

Chaired a diverse three-state coalition that opposed a plan to construct a rail line to haul coal to Eastern power plants -- media work, organizing, and event planning.

Officer and public speaker for organization that raised awareness of the impacts of methamphetamine on Colorado communities.

Strategic planning and research coordination for highly successful effort to stop uranium mining and support treaty rights in the Black Hills.

Served on Environmental Advisory Board, providing research and policy information to County Commissioners.

Political party officer at County and State levels from 1984-1992 and from 2002 to the present.  Attended 1988 National Convention.

Served on committee that developed first statewide solid waste policy.
